All referrals to the Department of Psychiatry must be made by a family physician or pediatrician and go through Mental Health Access Program (MHAP). Referrals must be completed through EPIC. The link is available on the website.

Description des services:

A team of intake specialists and senior clinicians who review and triage referrals to determine if the services provided through the Department of Psychiatry are the best option for the child and their family. They monitor and maintain all referrals to Psychiatry to ensure that cases are served in the best way and place possible. In cases where a referral is deemed not appropriate for service at SickKids, the MHAP team will provide families and referring physicians with alternative service options that may be more suitable.
