Wraparound is a system of care approach emphasizing family involvement. The collaboration between the family and the worker drives the process for planning and service delivery
It is an effective approach to helping families, children and youth with complex needs achieve their identified goals. Teams of family, friends and professionals that the family or individual chooses come together to “wrap” participants in community supports
The participant's strengths, culture and vision for change drive the process from beginning to end. In summary, successful Wraparound involves parents, children, professionals, and natural supports working together to meet the individual needs of children, youth and their families
