Description des services:
Offers shelter to youth at risk
Support and advocacy to help youth ages 16-24 make positive lifestyle choices, stay in school, find employment or attend counselling
Community Awareness and Advocacy - Community education and awareness of the causes, needs and effects of homelessness
Emergency Community Placement
Coordinates short term emergency shelter for youth and adults in crisis, provides support and assistance to youth in a housing crisis to make housing plans and to link with other relevant community services
Housing Support and Prevention Program
Information, referrals, and mentoring to at risk youth who are either living independently or considering a move to independence
Shelterlink Youth Services
Supporting
Perth County youth aged 14-24 experiencing homelessness, or at-risk of
homelessness, since 1991.
Shelter services include 24/7 support, shelter
diversion, 15 short-term emergency beds, basic needs, and
employment/educational resources.
Outreach services include prevention, family
mediation, family reunification, trusteeships, community consultations and
information sessions, and post-shelter support.
