Weechi It Te Win Family Services - Tele-Mental Health Program

Referral required; accepted from doctors, counsellors or agencies that provide mental health services for children and their families

Must be a member of any of the 9 First Nations communities in the Rainy Lake Tribal Region either on/off-reserve
Children and youth 17 years of age and younger with emotional and/or behavioural problems that require additional help

NOTE: Children do not have to be in care with an agency to access services

Provides psychiatric assistance for children and their families through video conferencing

Offers consultations, diagnosis and treatment from professionals at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto
Recommends the child/client accessing telepsychiatry retain a counsellor or family doctor who can provide follow-up services
Provides educational seminars and training programs for agencies on any of the related topics
