Applications and supporting documentation must be received in writing by July 31st of the year
Must apply each year to be considered for this program

Low-income Seniors
individuals 65 years or older
must be receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) and total household income must be less than $45,706
Low-income Persons with Disabilities
must be receiving ODSP or CPP Disability and have a total household income of $45,706 or less
All Applicants
:
Must be owners of residential property within the city of Thunder Bay for a period of one (or more) year(s) preceding the application
Must be the applicant's principal residence
Tax and water accounts cannot be in arrears when applying
All co-owners must qualify under eligibility criteria
