Fluoride Varnish:

All children up to 4 years of age

Healthy Smiles Ontario

Children must be:

17 years of age and younger
a resident of Ontario and
a member of a household with an Adjusted Family Net Income (AFNI) at or under the levels shown here

Helps to prevent dental disease in children and promotes good oral health

Provides oral health screening in all schools

Provides mouth examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants and oral health education at the Health Unit clinic to eligible children and youth age 17 and under

Fluoride Varnish Clinics

Provides fluoride to preschool children
Offered free to families whether they have dental coverage or not

Healthy Smiles Ontario

Covers the cost of regular visits to a licensed dental care provider, such as a dentist or dental hygienist
Covers a full range of preventive and restorative dental services including check-ups, cleaning, scaling, fillings, extractions, x-rays and more
