Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:

Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Weech-it-te-win Child and Family Services in Fort Frances
Hospital services available in nearby town of Fort Frances
Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Treaty #3 Police; call 1-888-310-1122 for police services to be dispatched to reserve
Community members conduct much of their business affairs and shopping in the nearby town of Fort Frances
Offers Windey's Food Market, a small convenience store
Offers a newly-constructed Health/Business Centre, completed in July 2016
Provides the NiGiGoonSiWiiGiWaam Child Care Centre
Provides seasonal language camps at the mouth of the Ottertail River in participation with the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis
Serviced by air through the Fort Frances Airport located 2 miles NW of Fort Frances
