Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect under the Child and Family Services Act

Services include:

protects children at risk of abuse
provides children brought into the care of the CAS with temporary and long-term care * handles adoptions and adoption disclosure
promotes healthy development of children, families and communities
social workers available for education, training events and presentations on the topic of child abuse, child protection and duty to report
