Provides assessment and support for women and newborns following discharge from the hospital * joint program with Peel Public Health nurses and with a certified lactation consultant

Services include:

jaundice screening for baby
newborn screening and infant hearing screening programs
staple removal after Caesarean birth
assistance and support with breastfeeding * Peel Public Health provides feeding support to new moms
follow up infant and mother care
car seat safety
