Description of Services

Weekly group sessions help seniors to enhance their knowledge and skills on various topics of interest, and also engage them in socially entertaining activities such as singing songs, sharing jokes and stories, playing games etc

Helps in eliminating isolation and loneliness among older adults by:

  • bringing them together to spend quality time
  • engaging them in various activities to remain physically and mentally active
  • connecting them with the wider community through a series of workshops on various topics of interest, and
  • taking them out on excursions and trips to explore and learn about Canadian heritage and culture etc.

About Us

BMC has been providing settlement and social services to the newcomer, immigrant and larger community in Peel since 1987. Our main objective is to help individuals and families in need and those experiencing social, educational, cultural and financial barriers, limiting their full participation and integration into society and the economy.
