Ontario Autism Program - single point of access to autism services for children and youth * see separate entry

Developmental Services Ontario- Toronto Region - the central access point for indivduals 18 and over to register and apply for funded services *  provide information about services and supports * confirm eligiblity to receive MCCSS funded developmental services and supports * complete an application package to assess support needs, and help to connect with available services and supports

• Augmentative Communication & Writing Aids Program (ACWA) Supports and services for people with intellectual disabilities * assess the benefit of assistive devices in order to determine funding eligibility

• Autism Spectrum Disorders - Treatment Research and Education for Autism and Developmental Disorders (TRE-ADD) Comprehensive day treatment program * provide a variety of services for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder and related intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their families * medical, education, social work and family support to youth with behavioural challenges * TRED-ADD program provide school-based services such as assessment and treatment in partnership with Toronto and Peel school boards * offer brief consultation, assessment and training supports to clients, families, caregivers and professionals

• Autism Spetrum Disorders - School Support Program Provide support and services to local school boards and their staff, and other local community organizations to increase their understanding of autism spectrum disorder and evidence-based approaches such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) * services include a range of capacity building through educational and training events, supporting the transition from treatment settings to full-time school settings, and targeted resource development that supports identified needs to enter into and succeed in school boards * offer services to community organizations to strengthen their existing approaches to supporting children and youth by offering a range of professional development services

• Developmental Disabilities - Adult Program Clinic services to adult who have developmental disabilities such as:

• Developmental Disabilities - Blind-Low Vision Early Intervention Program Early intervention support to young children who have visual impairment to meet the development and communication goals * work collaboratively to help increase families’ and parents’ understanding of their child’s visual impairment to advocate for and support their child’s learning from birth to school age

• Developmental Disabilities - Children and Youth Program Interdisciplinary services to support children and youth, ages 6 to 18 years, who have a developmental/intellectual disability

• Developmental Disabilities - Coordinated Service Planning A person-centred plan approach allows children and youth's interest and oals to focus decision-making when navigating the programs and services * support children and youth with multiple medical, mental health and/or behaviour challenges needs and who are receiving services from more than one agency across sectors such as medical, mental health, developmental and at school * help to connect to the appropriate services and supports

• Developmental Disabilities - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Clinic Specialized diagnostic assessment and consultation services to individuals between the ages of 6 – 18 who are suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders * provides necessary information to understand the range of effects of prenatal alcohol exposure, including physical, intellectual and neurobehavioural effects

• Developmental Disabilities - Infancy and Early Childhood Program Support children from birth to school entry who have a developmental disability and/or risk of developmental delay * offer home-based programming that support the development and provide education and community information to parents

• Ontario Autism Program - Single Point of Access Single point of access for children and youth to be placed on the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) waitlist for autism services * Single Point of Access: 1-833-575-5437

• Parenting Enhancement Program Training and support to parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are deemed eligible for support through Developmental Services Ontario.

• Parents Helping Parents FASD Ontario Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD) support for parents helping parents project * a phone support resource provided by Parent Mentors (parents and caregivers of children, youth and adults affected by FASD) prepared to listen to and support and share personal coping strategies with other parents and caregiver of individuals affected by FASD * as a peer mentoring resource it is not a crisis line and cannot offer therapeutic or clinical interventions * provide information where parents and caregivers might access those interventions as well as information about other community resources * callers can expect confidentiality except in situations where there is a risk of harm to oneself or to others
