Description of Services

The program provides services that are geared to the family as a unit and targets families with information, programs, and services such as public education on healthy and active living, parenting, cultural sharing and self-empowerment, income security, conflict resolution, etc.

The program provides:

interactive group sessions for individual and group cultural sharing, mutual support and encouragement, knowledge exchange, and transfer
mutual support and encouragement opportunities
parenting programs
referrals to community resources such as child care, income security, employment, and health services
interactive activities such as field trips and community barbeques, physical activities, winter clothing drives etc.
volunteer and community engagement opportunities
