Description of Services

A fully integrated “one stop shop” youth hub where youth ages 12-25 can access a multitude of services including: Mental Health Support, Problematic Substance Use Support, Housing Support, Education Support, Employment Support, Primary Care, Recreation Programs, Library Support and Family Counselling. It also houses peer services, outreach and system navigation services

Youth counselling services

Youth Coordinator (YC) - Personal, supportive counselling * service to help youth ages 12-25 manage relationships, set goals and make self-identified decisions
  • a safe space for youth to converse about personal and social issues including: mental health, bullying, family problems, education, and employment-related concerns
  • employment support: help to find summer and part-time jobs, and volunteer work; prepare for job interviews, help preparing resume/cover letter; and help with skills/career development


Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) * service for hard to reach youth ages 12-21 and their families
  • raises awareness of available community services
  • engages youth in community programs and refer them to appropriate services
  • strengthens partnerships among organizations that serve youths

Clinical Youth Outreach Worker (CYOW)

The CYOW helps “hard-to-reach” youth ages 12-21 and their families connect with services in Peel Region related to mental health issues. The CYOW provides one-on-one counselling and support services to youth, focusing on immediate needs and referring to long-term support services in the community. Through this form of support, the CYOW will work with youth to improve their mental health and well-being
