The lawyer referral list provides biography and contact details for each lawyer. Individuals can choose which lawyer they want to contact. If an individual is not eligible, they will also receive a notification by email within three business days or by regular mail within 10 business days.

  • The sexual assault must have happened in Ontario

Description of Services

  • Provides survivors of sexual assault up to four hours of free, confidential legal advice from a lawyer
  • Provides assistance by phone or in person
  • Helps individuals make informed decisions about what to do next
  • Offers assistance at any time after the sexual assault has occurred
  • Note: The program does not provide legal representation
