Description of Services

Offers shelter to youth at risk

Support and advocacy to help youth ages 16-24 make positive lifestyle choices, stay in school, find employment or attend counselling

Community Awareness and Advocacy - Community education and awareness of the causes, needs and effects of homelessness

  • Emergency Community Placement Coordinates short term emergency shelter for youth and adults in crisis, provides support and assistance to youth in a housing crisis to make housing plans and to link with other relevant community services

  • Housing Support and Prevention Program Information, referrals, and mentoring to at risk youth who are either living independently or considering a move to independence
  •  
  • Shelterlink Youth Services Supporting Perth County youth aged 14-24 experiencing homelessness, or at-risk of homelessness, since 1991.

    Shelter services include 24/7 support, shelter diversion, 15 short-term emergency beds, basic needs, and employment/educational resources.

    Outreach services include prevention, family mediation, family reunification, trusteeships, community consultations and information sessions, and post-shelter support.

  • Youth Homeless Shelter (16-24 years old) - Youth Homeless Outreach Services (14-24 years old) Support for youth experiencing homelessness, or at-risk homelessness, through prevention, advocacy, shelter and community connection services.
