Description of Services
Provides access to psychological and psychiatric services through video conferencing
Coordinates with Surrey Place Centre in Toronto through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to provide various clinical supports from a team consisting of a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse, psychologist, behaviour therapists, a speech language pathologist and an occupational therapist
Provides education, information, diagnoses, advice and referrals for medical issues
Eliminates the need to travel long distances to access psychological and psychiatric services
Video conferencing is also used for staff training and educational seminars
