Application

Referrals can be made by anyone within a government agency who has identified a learning need related to the mental health of the elderly, or anyone concerned about an older adult who may have a psychological, behavioural or memory problem

Eligibility / Target Population

Must be a government funded agency such as Ontario Health atHome, long-term care homes, adult day programs, homemaking agencies, supportive housing, or respite care programs dealing with dementia and mental health issues

Education to enhance knowledge and skills of staff of long term care, community support services, and health partners
  • consultation about learning needs
  • care plans and programs related to challenging behaviors of clients/residents
  • assistance with referrals to services and resources
