Services to help with basic needs
Coats for Kids - Free winter coats for those in need * all ages * call for an appointment
Community and Family Services - Emergency assistance provided in the form of clothing, food, small household items, LEAP and counselling
Grocery Store Gift Card - May be provided once every 4 months * people in need must make an appointment at 105 Edward St, Unit 3 to receive any assistance * bring proof of household income, identification of all household members, 30 day bank statement(s) for all members of household who have an income and monthly bills
Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) - Monthly credit to help cover electricity bills, based on household income and the number of people living in the home * other levels of assistance may be available for Indigenous households, homes with medical equipment that have high-energy needs and homes heated through electricity * call 519-633-4509 for an appointment or visit OntarioElectricitySupport.ca to apply online
