Description of Services

Residential and community-based services for women and their children in Oxford County impacted by domestic abuse and/or homelessness

24-hour Crisis/Information Line- Confidential telephone and in-person support and assistance

Short-term Shelter - Shelter in Woodstock provides safe, secure, short-term accommodation * emergency basic needs provided * referrals to community resources and child support services * transportation to the shelter can be arranged

Counselling  For women 16 + - counselling for those impacted by domestic abuse and/or homelessness * services provided in Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll

Transitional Housing and Support Program - One-on-one, community-based court and legal support, goal planning and safety planning for abused and/or homeless women and teens * housing referrals

Believe In Me - Support and information for children/adolescents affected by domestic abuse

Sexual Assault/Abuse Counselling and Support - One-on-one counselling for women 16 and over who have been sexually abused

Community Outreach - Support and information to women within their own community * call for times and places

  • Shelter-Crisis Line Shelter for women, with or without children/youth, who have experienced gender-based violence/intimate partner violence.  In a secure, home-like residence * emergency basic needs provided * referral to community resources and child support services * transportation to the shelter for women and children can be arranged * court and legal support * risk assessment and safety planning
